through the windows,
down the halls,
through the grass,
and down the pass,
i see the color of the trees,
the multicolored yellow bees,
the sunflowers and their ready seeds,
i see the waves crashing on the rocks,
the argosies pulling out of the docks,
the little children with their blue frocks.
i am so happy to be here,
hours and hours disappear,
i sit and watch it all go by,
the stars start to pop out and fill the sky,
i go and lay on the gritty sand,
and wait for God to take my hand.
